Woolwich terror
When a soldier was stabbed in a would-be terrorist attack in Woolwich, London, it dominated the news cycle for a week.
Stories covered: first report, arrests, victim named, a news piece on ‘lone wolf terrorism’, a well-received weekend feature on ‘DIY terror‘, some more news updates on reaction and investigation, and a piece on the difference between terrorism and mere murder.
A week later, I wrote about the fascist EDL trying to use the murder to stir up trouble.
